Emotional

Jesus replied: “'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. 'This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”  Matthew 22:37-40

Hope understands that the greatest gift anyone can provide in this area is time. So often the clients coming to us are suffering from emotional neglect, physical abuse, and what they desire most is someone to listen and hear their wants, hopes, and fears. All of our staff and volunteers interacting with clients are trained in Heartbeat International's L.O.V.E. Approach. This teaches them how to listen and learn, open options, introduce a new visio and value, and extend and empower.

 

Practical

"The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.'" Matthew 25:40

Hope understands that parenting is overwhelming for anyone. That goes ten times for a woman facing motherhood with no support. To us, every client that chooses life is a hero, no matter what her past or previous mistakes. That is why we are committed to ensuring that we do all that we can to set them up for success in parenting, including parenting classes and other ways to gain material items from us. Spiritual

"The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly." John 10:10

Hope knows that clients facing crisis pregnancies are often also suffering a far greater wound of not walking with the Lord. Our aim is that our clients not only choose life, but choose it abundantly. All of our staff and volunteers are passionate about sharing the hope of the Gospel with our clients. As they permit, we engage in spiritual discussions, Gospel presentations, and praying over and for our clients. We offer Bible studies and connect women who have suffered from a past abortion with a Christ-centered abortion recovery program. Even when a woman who comes to us chooses abortion, we are faithful in knowing that the Lord is using us to plant seeds and we pray that one day He will bring them to fruition for His purpose. Without Christ, there is no Hope.
